Graham Handley Architects is a RIBA chartered architectural design practice. They undertake residential, commercial and conservation projects, providing site appraisals, feasibility studies, planning applications, listed building applications, construction information, project management, contract administration and development consultancy.
As architects we believe our creativity is best harnessed to generate innovative design solutions by working closely and collaboratively in dialogue with our clients to understand and interpret their detailed brief and realise the full potential of their project.
Graham Handley Architects' projects are site-specific and range from elegant contemporary designs incorporating modern materials with stylish detailing, through to sensitive buildings in local vernacular style and materials. We believe in negotiating with the local Planning authority in order to maximize our clients' chances of a successful Planning Approval.
Projects include new-build individual houses, offices, marinas, residential developments, mixed-use developments, shop-fitting, house extensions, restoration of Listed Buildings, change of use of Listed Buildings, conversion of derelict buildings and barn conversions. As conservation architects, they are experienced in repair and conservation of Listed Buildings including timber-frame and oak-frame buildings.
Graham Handley Architects' enthusiastic and innovative approach is particularly helpful in bringing together sustainable, "green", energy-efficient environmentally friendly construction with Conservation-led criteria. We aim to achieve cost-effective, environmentally responsible buildings for our clients.
