Caxton Farmhouse
This Grade 2 farmhouse was in an advanced state of disrepair and structurally unsound. We installed new roof timbers above the existing structure, replaced the concrete tiles with clay, and lime rendered the decaying brickwork to help ensure its future longevity.
Colne
An unused barn has been converted to ancillary residential use. A double height sitting area occupies one end of the building, with a new stair leading to a first floor gallery.
Fire Damaged Cottage
This Grade II early C17th thatched cottage was extensively damaged by fire.
Our role has included negotiating with the insurance companies, as well as with the environment agency and the local conservation team. We have also been involved in the selection of a suitable thatcher.
The project is currently under construction.
